The Pirie School Library now boasts 30 ChromeBooks and 12 iPads that all grade levels can use to complete research, create content and communicate with the world at large. Students have had the opportunity to explore with green screen technology, robots, and computer coding. In addition, the Pirie Library uses an interactive whiteboard and document camera during instruction to help transform today's learners into tomorrow's leaders.
Nineteen of the ChromeBooks and ten of the iPads were received from CPS's REVITAL Grant to promote technology and information literacy instruction in the Library. Learn more about the grant and how Pirie and other CPS schools used this at the REVITAL Blog.
